What we accept at our yards.
Frews transfer stations accept a wide range of construction, demolition, and green waste materials. Mixed C&D is shredded and compacted for transport, concrete and hardfill are crushed and recycled, greenwaste and stumps are shredded and transported for recycling.

Concrete including large slabs and demolished concrete. Crushed and recycled where possible.

Frews has dedicated yard capability for hydrovac receiving and contaminated soil remediation, with experienced people, plant, and processing systems behind the operation.
Factory Road Hydrovac Receiving Yard
HAIL and non-HAIL hydrovac accepted.
Factory Road operates as a hydrovac receiving yard. Frews accepts hydrovac material from both HAIL and non-HAIL sites, with the equipment and knowledge to process it cleanly and efficiently before transporting the finished product to the Hororata quarry for disposal.

AP20
20mm gravel, ideal for top course.
A fine aggregate option suited to top-course use and finishing layers.
AP40
40mm gravel for general supply.
AP40 is a 40mm gravel option for general supply and base course requirements.
AP65
65mm coarse aggregate.
AP65 is a coarser aggregate product available through the recovery yard, suited to sub-base and drainage applications.
AP5 Crusher Dust
Fine crusher dust for compaction and finishing.
AP5 crusher dust is ideal for compaction under paving, paths, and finished surfaces requiring a fine, stable base.
Screened Topsoil
Quality screened topsoil for landscaping and reinstatement.
Screened topsoil suitable for garden reinstatement, landscaping, and topsoil replacement. Available in bulk loads for larger projects or smaller quantities on request.
